MQTT without letting it into the core.
MQTT is how Sinumerik Industrial Edge and many gateways publish machine data. Toleron keeps MQTT off the core's dependency surface: an isolated client service at the edge does the MQTT work, and the platform consumes its decoded output.

Isolated by design
The core does not depend on MQTT. A separate service subscribes to the broker, decodes Sinumerik datapoints and hands them to the platform at the edge. Broker, TLS, authentication and topic filter are configured per connector, and a pasted Sinumerik connector configuration is parsed into the device and datapoint map automatically.
Clock drift, corrected at the edge
Controller clocks drift. Datapoints are re-timed at the edge before they go upstream, so MQTT values sit on the same axis as sensor blocks and OPC UA polls — robust against controller clock drift. A capture that lands nothing says so on the recording.
Triggers and recordings
MQTT datapoints are live signals: they stream to charts, serve as trigger conditions and can be recorded.
