Toleron

Platform · Sensors

Full detail, not summaries.

Grinding burn happens within tens of milliseconds. A monitoring system that takes a value every thirty seconds never sees it. Toleron records sensor data in full detail, stores it in full detail and never shows you a value in the live view that is not also in the archive.

Sensors count like controller data

Sensors on spindle and axes, on the fixture or the spindle housing, signal outputs of the machine and other process sensors — vibration, force, power. Each sensor appears in Toleron with its unit, just like a value from the controller, and can be used the same way.

  • Several sensors per EdgeBox, recorded in full detail.
  • High-speed sensors for grinding processes — recordings validated end to end in the lab.
  • Continuous high-resolution measurement on a lab machine, evaluated directly at the machine.

What you see is stored

Toleron stores the data first and only then shows it in the live chart. So the dashboard can never show a value that is not in the archive. A reconnect cannot create duplicate data.

A self-test that measures

Registering a sensor ends with a real hardware test: does it respond, how much data actually arrives, is it stored correctly. A sensor only counts as working once real acceptance criteria are met — never on the basis of simulated data.

Machines with no interface

The manual surface grinder in our lab has no controller to ask. A sensor on its spindle shows whether it is running, idling or switched off — clearly marked as sensor-derived on every dashboard — and gives a basis for utilisation and condition monitoring. The same machine carries three more sensors for process analysis.

Next step

Bring intelligence to your machines.

Connect existing CNC equipment without replacing the machine or the controller. We start with one machine, real data and an honest acceptance run.
