Toleron

Industrial Intelligence Platform for CNC Manufacturing

Turn machine data into manufacturing intelligence.

Toleron reads your CNC machines — straight from the controller, or through retrofitted sensors where there is none — and shows in real time what is happening: status, alarms, downtime and deviations in the process.

Installed, not rendered

In the control cabinet of a real machine.

This is the cabinet of the five-axis tool grinder in our lab — a Sinumerik 840D sl. Both boxes sit between the drives and the terminal modules, wired like any other component.

Everything stays local

No cloud, no internet. The data never leaves the shop floor — and nothing is written to the controller.

Compatibility

Works with your machines.

Three controller families run in our laboratory and we have checked their data end to end. Other controllers connect through the same open standards — and older machines without any interface get retrofitted sensors.

From signal to intelligence

Seven stages between a machine and a decision.

From the machine to the decision on your screen — every step runs in our laboratory today. The raw data stays in your plant; only results travel.

  1. 01

    Machine

Data straight from the CNC controller — plus sensors on the machine where needed.

  2. 02

    EdgeBox

A small computer at the machine collects the data, stores it locally and decides when to record.

  3. 03

    Capture

Every signal in full detail — saved first, shown second.

  4. 04

    Synchronisation

All data on one common clock, even when the controller's clock is off.

  5. 05

    Process

Data is tied to the actual cut — when the tool is in the part — not to the time of day.

  6. 06

    Intelligence

Evaluations and AI models run on your data — tested quietly alongside first, then switched on.

  7. 07

    Action

A status, a recording, a report, a recommendation — the system advises, people decide.

Machines & Lab

Real machines. Real processes. Real data.

Toleron is developed and validated on the machine park of the KSF laboratory in Tuttlingen — grinding, turning and milling, on three controller families and one machine with no controller at all. Pick a machine to see which data it delivers.

Inside the platform

Numbers you can put in front of a plant manager.

Every figure on a Toleron screen carries its source. What is not measured says “not computable” — never 0, never 100.

  • Live on screen

Charts update continuously, from a fraction of a second up to ten minutes — even very short events stay visible.

  • Timelines that explain downtime

State, downtime, program and alarms from 15 minutes to 14 days — assign causes to many stoppages at once, in minutes.

  • Alarms word for word

Every controller alarm is kept in full, together with where it came from.

Assistant · Toleron Flow · early access

Ask the plant a question.

Toleron Flow answers questions about machines, alarms, downtime and manuals. It uses the same evaluations as the dashboards, sees only what the person asking may see, and runs on your own hardware.

  • Figures, not guesses

Figures come straight from the evaluations and are shown unchanged as a table.

  • Sources, with their age

Manual pages are cited with upload date, revision and whether they have been checked.

  • Refuses what the data cannot support

A partial answer names exactly what is missing — never a fabricated number.

Our rule

We do not invent customers, statistics or capabilities.

Every claim on this site comes from our own lab work — and says so when a capability is designed but not yet running, or still in commissioning.

Next step

Bring intelligence to your machines.

Connect existing CNC equipment without replacing the machine or the controller. We start with one machine, real data and an honest acceptance run.
