Vibration on the same path as everything else.
Chatter, imbalance and bearing condition express themselves as vibration. Accelerometers with a signal conditioner produce a ±10 V signal that the EdgeBox DAQ acquires at full rate per channel — the same path, the same archive, the same operators as current.
- Input
- ±10 V via conditioner
- Rate
- kHz-rate per channel
- Status
- Supported, not yet lab-validated
What the path provides
- Any IEPE/ICP accelerometer through a conditioner into a DAQ channel at kHz rates — sufficient for chatter frequencies and imbalance, not for high-band bearing diagnostics.
- Statistical and spectral feature operators per window — RMS, peak, band energies — as ordinary signals.
- Triggered full-rate capture of vibration alongside current and controller state.
