Toleron

Technology · Synchronisation · Data

One timebase for the controller and the sensor.

A sensor block and a controller poll captured on different clocks cannot be aligned afterwards. Toleron timestamps sensor data from the acquisition clock, corrects controller clock drift at the edge, and evaluates triggers against the data's own time — so a recording holds both on one axis.

The data clock

Sensor blocks carry nanosecond timestamps from the acquisition process, not from whoever received them. Triggers fire and clear at those timestamps. Recording windows are cut on them, and a finalised recording holds exactly the requested window.

Controller clock drift

Controllers keep their own clocks, and those clocks drift. MQTT datapoints are re-timed at the edge, so the result is robust against controller clock drift. OPC UA polls are stamped on receipt with the source timestamp preserved.

Gaps you can see

Edge-computed frames carry per-signal continuity counters, so a missing frame is detectable rather than invisible. In preview and replay, retention boundaries are drawn on the chart and warm-up periods are marked — a gap looks like a gap, not like a flat line.

Bring intelligence to your machines.

Connect existing CNC equipment without replacing the machine or the controller. We start with one machine, real data and an honest acceptance run.
